I have been a watermedia artist for past 20+ years, using watercolors, acrylics, casein and collage. In the past 3 years I started experimenting with Alcohol inks and developed a very impressionistic style for my landscapes. I have resumed painting watercolors I love the translucency of this medium.
Primarily self-taught I have taken numerous workshops from well-known artists I admired.
I was selected as one of the exhibiting artists at the Napa County Library for March 2018, showing both alcohol ink paintings and dog portraits. Dog portraits were of animals at the Napa County Animal Shelter.
I have earned a number of awards over the years at various shows/exhibitions as well as artist of the year for the Napa Valley Art Association twice.
