Mon Reyes

I graduated with an Associates Degree in Visual Arts but I am mostly self-taught. Though my art is stylized, the emotions are realistic. I draw from my ideas from a world I created. I do not use reference photos unless it is needed to work on a customer’s commission. Most of my works are dark and tragic, mythical and surreal. But because I work also work on commissions, I learned to be versatile. I can work on any concept, any medium, and I’m willing to experience the things I never tried before. Personally, watercolor is my weapon. It simply transcends the energy I need to fulfill my ideas. Every art I make is a piece of my self. Every message behind all my art is a word I fail to say.
