Sergio Velazquez

My name is Sergio Velazquez, I was raised and currently live in Napa. My family origins are from Mexico, specifically the states of Aguascalientes and Jalisco. Growing up I watched my dad paint countless oil paintings on a wide variety of mediums, and even stone carving. It wasn’t until High School that I began painting. While my focus has been pinstriping, I have spent various years exploring different mediums. Among the different mediums include linoleum block printing, leatherwork and custom made enamel pins. Beyond art, I have spent the last 8 years learning about my indigenous roots and participate in Mexica dance.
