Artist Reception: Sophie Rai

Sophie Rai has been drawing as long as she can remember. While in elementary school, Sophie learned drawing fundamentals from internationally acclaimed artist and Napa Valley resident Sharlene Osorio. This is where Sophie first discovered her love of drawing animal portraits.  Sophie currently studies mixed media with Tom Turner, Pacific Union College Professor Emeritus of Art. Her favorite mediums are colored pencil, watercolor and acrylic paint. Sophie received an art scholarship from PUC Preparatory School and is a freshman at the Angwin-based high school. Refreshments will be served.
