Artist Reception: Widad Presents Fluid Painting

Widad has lived a creative life. Injuries in 2016 caused her to take a very long break from work. As an energetic healer she applied the decades of spirit /chi training to her own healing. In the system of Chi Nei Tsang fear is transformed by creativity and true healing is the integration and evolution of the whole being. 

 Fluid painting is a fun and popular medium where the paint is poured onto the canvas and the painter moves with the project in flow patterns. What comes into play beyond the materials and basic techniques is space/time, awareness, relaxation, kinesthetic sensation and the ability to “let go” while staying present and connecting with the unknown. Each painting is a step on the healing journey.
