The Responsibilities Of The Art Director Are
Concept, create, and present unique, cutting-edge design ideas.
Communicate clear directions to Illustrators, Editorial, Production and Sourcing Teams, and manage projects from idea development to design execution.
Scout new artists, lettering, and photography resources that are appropriate to the brand
Lead team projects and freelance resources to ensure successful execution of product plan and designs meet Papyrus standards.
Present the latest and hottest trends, colors, materials and market updates, that inspire and generate creativity in Team.
Support in the brand development and leadership strategy

 Work will be conducted primarily at world headquarters. Some travel may be necessary. A fast-paced environment with an occasional heavy workload. Job may require working more than 40 hours a week at times. Frequent fixed deadlines.

Experience Required
2-4 years experience as Art Director in card, gift or related industry
Strong project management and organizational skills are necessary
Solid knowledge of pre-production, 4-color printing and special finishing techniques
Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office software skills on Mac required

Education Required
Bachelor’s Degree in art, design, fashion related fields.
