Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Associate Level Designer to work on a new, unannounced, Activision project led by industry veterans Fred Ford and Paul Reiche. You will be a detail-oriented developer with hands-on Unity 3D experience and the skills and passion to create and tune the interactive game world. You must thrive in a challenging and often ambiguous environment. IMPORTANT SECRET: While this opportunity is indeed located in Novato, CA, it is not actually a Toys For Bob studio project. Your Responsibilities Will Include
Planning, building, and revising interesting layouts for gameplay.
Designing and owning environmental systems/mechanics from concept to completion.
Creating and iterating on the second to second experiences.
Implementing fun game levels in Unity 3D engine.
Researching the game's subject matter.
Collaborating with the Design, Art, and Engineering teams to create and refine gameplay mechanicsandcombat encounters.
Prioritizing well and meet deadlines, communicating progress with the Lead Level Designer well and frequently.

Requirements For This Role Include
0-2 years of professional game development experience
A Bachelors Degree in Art, Game Design, or related field
Skill in Unity 3D.
Serious passion foraction games on Console or PC.
Demonstrable experience creating gameplay in a 3D environment.
Strong creative and technical design skills.
Ability to conceptualize and communicate an engaging gameplay experience and the technical ability to carry out your vision.
Self-motivated with the highest level of attention to detail.
Ability to work well within a team environment.
Takes and understands direction and feedback well, meets deadlines andhandles multiple tasks.
Confidentcommunicationin writing and person-to-person conversation. Key skills include honesty, clarity, flexibility, understanding, accuracy, receptiveness, and kindness.
Energy, enthusiasm, and optimism.

You will really get our attention if you demonstrate the following:
Experience with 3D art packages such as Maya, 3ds Max, orSoftimage|XSI.
Programming/scripting experience in C/C++, LUA, or other languages
Blueprint or asset scripting abilities.
