November 4–7, 2020.
The hours for the conference on Wednesday-Friday will be 4 pm – 8 pm PT. Saturday will be 9 am–6 pm PT. Virtual Exhibit Hall will be open Friday and Saturday with additional opportunities on the other two days to meet and interact with exhibitors.
We have planned focus themes for each day, so there will be lessons or demonstrations that will align with the theme as well as general workshops on other topics.
Wednesday will be Choice-Based Art Education,
Thursday will be the new California Framework, and
Friday will be a fun virtual evening. We are working on ways to provide fun games and interaction with our virtual exhibit hall to win prizes, meet other teachers and generally have a fun evening.
Saturday morning will be our keynote, Liz Byron and Universal Design for Learning. The rest of the morning will be workshops related to her keynote. In the afternoon, our focus will be Social, Emotional, Learning in the Art Classroom.
In addition to the conference themes, we will host a variety of workshops on a variety of topics. All workshops will have a live component so participants can ask questions and interact.
