Fire Station 308 Public Art

The City of Surprise, in conjunction with the Surprise Arts & Cultural Advisory Commission (SACAC) is seeking qualified artists to propose artwork that will be placed at the new Fire Station 308 facility being constructed at the southeast corner of Litchfield Road and Cactus Road (see included architectural renderings). This feature will serve as an artistic enhancement to the public?facing spaces within the site.

This 14,000 square foot multi?bay facility will house an Engine Company, Hazardous Materials Response Team and future ambulance. The artwork is intended to pay tribute to the critical operations that occur within this facility and the men and women that provide these services.

This Call is open to all professional artist and artist teams whose body of work and skills or combined skill set are proven for a project of this magnitude and type.
