The Graphic Designer assists the Marketing Manager with the creation and execution of graphic content to meet the annual marketing and business development initiatives for East Bay Tire Co and its locations. Under direction from the Marketing Manager, the graphic designer will be responsible for delivering completed projects as outlined on a regularly scheduled basis. The graphic designer is responsible for creating graphics and campaigns that represent the company, its brand, its affiliates, and brand partners in an innovative and cutting-edge way.


Graphic design and maintenance support for all marketing assets including, but not limited to advertising (print/digital), product announcements, product catalogs, banners, corporate and affiliate websites, building signage, truck decals, corporate office supplies like business cards and specialty forms, flyers, recruiting materials, and invitations
Assist in design development for internal and external platforms (i.e., ADP, websites, social media, company newsletter, etc.)
Provide graphic support for online web shop including banners, product images, customer campaigns, etc.
Maintains graphics library files
Full awareness of annual marketing production calendar to anticipate deadlines and tasks
Coordinates or produces videos, photography, or other graphic images for content creation
Assists with planning and putting on vendor, client, and employee events
Assists with creating annual customer gifting items that might include gift boxes, wine labels, specialty apparel

Associates or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Communications, or a related field with portfolio demonstrating design scope and ability is required
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a progressive graphic design role
Demonstrated organizational capabilities, detail oriented, ability to prioritize and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to think creatively while building campaigns, ads, and promotions
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent listening skills and strong communication skills
A strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
Self-motivated and self-starter
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with various departments and employees
Excellent time management skills
Strong eye for detail and brand comprehension
Ability to take figurative concepts and turn them into graphical marketing assets
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft 365 Products and full Adobe Creative Suite 2021
Must possess valid California Driver’s License.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to:

Work in an environment where there can be medium to loud noise
Routinely use computer equipment including monitors, keyboards, etc.
Frequently sit and stand to perform work, visit offices, attend meetings
Put trade booths together, package products, photograph events, and product in different angles
Ability to lift to 35 pounds
Work flexible/varying schedule to support the team, customers, and deadlines
