Join us for our 1st annual Lost Sierra Plein Air Festival in beautiful Quincy California.  Plein air artists from across the country will converge on the Lost Sierra to paint the vast vistas and small towns of the area.  There will be painting demonstrations, workshops and the First Friday Gallery Art Walk; including the artist reception and awards ceremony in the Gallery at Bear Creek Frames.  The festival will culminate with a quick draw competition and “Off The Easel Sale” at the Saturday Morning Market in downtown Quincy on June 4th.  Vendors and food booths fill the park during the Market.  Nearby at Plumas County Fairgrounds the Sierra Cascade Street Rodders Car Show is also taking place.  Come join us for this fun event!

The Lost Sierra Plein Air Festival is open to artists of all skill levels. With hundreds of square miles to paint there is no limit to the beautiful paintings you will produce.  Kimball Geisler, currently The Vice President of the Plein Air Painters of America, is our judge and is offering a Two Day Workshop (June1st and June2nd) for only $300. It’s limited to 15 spots and is selling out fast.
