To disrupt racial and economic disparities within the classical music field by championing past, present, and future contributions by Latino composers and musicians.
Reports to: Artistic Director
Salary Range: $55,000 – $65,000
Terms: Full time (32 hours/week); telework position; paid time off; flexible working hours within 8am-6pm Pacific Time
Geographic Requirements: Primarily telework position with occasional on site meetings with schools and community based organizations in the San Francisco mid-Peninsula area (East Palo Alto/Redwood City)

POSITION MISSION
To guarantee the successful implementation of programs that support emerging Latino classical musicians and composers and that ensure Latino youth receive high caliber, culturally competent music education during the school day as well as outside of school hours.
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Artistic Director, the Programs Coordinator administers and oversees organizational activities in Programs portfolio: music education K-12, mentorship for emerging Latino classical musicians, commissioning of new works, and advocacy for music educators and classical music organizations and institutions leaders. The Programs Coordinator interacts with Quinteto Latino team members including program team, bookkeeper, and development/marketing team to ensure smooth internal operations related to education, mentoring, and advocacy programming.
