DEscriptION: Snap, Crackle, Pop! Let’s start the New Year right. Snap! is a quick turnaround show filled with bright, delicious artwork hung salon-style and ready to be snapped up by Bay Area art lovers. Submit works of art you are certain someone would like to own right now. Make a name for yourself as an important emerging artist, someone to collect, a discovery in the making. To make things simple all works will be priced at $199, with $120 of sales going to the artist. Arc’s January shows are a try-out for Bay Area artists. Works that sell get our attention. We’ve put several January artists in our curated exhibitions. So bring us your best. We challenge you to make something amazing.

CATEGORIES ACCEPTED: Sculpture, painting, drawing, photo, printmaking, mixed media, collage, assemblage, ceramics, fiber art, artist book - Original artwork only. No giclee reproductions. (This exhibition cannot accept jewelry, video, film, performance art, installation and works requiring an external electrical source.)

All works priced at $199 retail with $120 of sale going to artist.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: December 9, 2019. Works must be submitted online before midnight Pacific Time to be considered by jurors.

ABOUT ARC: Arc Gallery & Studios is a mixed-use art center in San Francisco’s South of Market district consisting of a 1,000 sq. ft. art gallery, two alternative exhibition spaces, art education center, ten artist studios, offices for Kearny Street Workshop, San Francisco Artist Network, and Vega Cafe. Arc supports the making of quality art in all media, provides a nurturing environment for artists to create their work, builds a community of artists to encourage exploration of art, provides resources for the professional development of visual artists, and promotes appreciation of the visual arts in the city of San Francisco.
