The City of West Sacramento is seeking qualified artist’s or artist teams to provide qualifications for a public art project to be located at West Sacramento, Fire Station 41.

West Sacramento Fire Station 41 is located at 132 15th Street and is the City’s oldest fire station, built originally in 1938. Station 41 underwent a major renovation in 2006. The renovation also included the installation of a large bench for seating located directly across the street from the station. The bench was constructed of hay bales, layers of reinforcing rebar and metal lath keymesh, and cement and designed to accommodate a public art application.
