    Our organization is a branch of a national 501c(4) non-profit, American Association of University Women, whose mission is to advance gender equality for women and girls through research, education and advocacy. Our vision is equity for all and our values are nonpartisan, fact based, integrity, inclusion and intersectionality. We have 230 members and offer 6 general programs, most that are open to the public. Our program topics revolve around our mission and and are often STEAM based. The Napa County Branch also has a Foundation that offers scholarships to young women in all the Napa County high schools and Napa Valley College as well as three other scholarships specified for advanced female college students. The primary fundraiser of the Foundation is our annual Author’s Forum that showcases 4 Bay area authors and raised money for all our scholarships

    We bring the performing arts to children and families in Napa Valley using theater as a vehicle to bridge different ethnicities, backgrounds, and perspectives. We are the only nonprofit in Napa County dedicated to a performing arts education for children and teens. We offer after school classes, in-school residencies, workshops, camps, and full productions.

    The Calistoga Art Center was formed in 2002 by community members and art enthusiasts to expand and enrich the arts in the Napa Valley through education, experience, awareness and involvement.

    Tim de la Torre is an Instructor of Visuals Arts at Pacific Union College and teaches full-time. Prior to PUC, he and his wife, Jaymie, combined their love for travel and storytelling and worked in nonfiction filmmaking domestically and throughout parts of Asia and South America. Tim’s most rewarding work is watching his students learn how to use the variety of tools available to filmmakers today to realize their artistic vision.

    di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art offers visitors refuge to view the art of Northern California in a singularly unique setting. Protected in perpetuity under the Napa County Land Trust, the site features multiple galleries, a sculpture park, and a 35-acre lake, all located on 217 scenic acres in Napa Valley’s famed Carneros region. di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art originated as the vision of Rene di Rosa (1919-2010), a prolific collector whose famed vineyards enabled his development of a world-class art collection. Together with his wife Veronica di Rosa (1934–1991), he used the sale of his vineyards to build an “art park” for the greater public. The organization was incorporated as a nonprofit public trust in 2000. Today di Rosa presents contemporary exhibitions by Bay Area-based artists and an array of educational programs for all ages, in addition to maintaining a permanent collection of notable works by artists living or working in the San Francisco Bay Area from the mid-twentieth century to the present day.

    GUILD is a maker space and retail boutique that offers DIY workshops and unique maker led classes, events and parties. Our newly renovated 1200 square foot studio, located near beautiful downtown Napa, CA,  features a workshop area, a retail boutique and a lounge and bar area. The workshop is dedicated to hosting weekly curated classes and DIY workshops. The boutique is an extension of the workshop and features small gift items, DIY kits, art prints and other handcrafted goods such as clothing, jewelry and small personal and home accessories. The lounge and bar can be used during events, workshops and for private parties. GUILD’s founders are Monica Stickley and Carrie Saxl, who collectively bring to the project four decades of experience in retail, art, design and event planning. After years of bonding over their shared enthusiasm for making things, learning new creative skills and their roles as moms, the idea for GUILD began to take root. What began as a search for a local community maker-workshop and affordable event venue grew into a desire to build the space that they were dreaming of. GUILD is a place for everyone, from the creatively curious novice to the seasoned artist looking to brush up on old skills or learn something entirely new. It is a coming together of people with similar interests, building community, learning together and having a good time. From weaving and watercolor to block printing and shibori dyeing, we offer a spectrum of classes accessible to all ages and abilities.

    Utilizing a grant from the Jarvis family the Conservatory began operation in Napa, CA, in 1995, providing training and support for artists. The Conservatory is dedicated to serious art forms not often available in other places, and at the same time, art forms relating to the large Hispanic community of Napa. All Conservatory productions take place in what has been described as a jewel of a theater, and an acoustic marvel.

    Welcome to the Upper Valley Campus in St. Helena Located a mile from Main Street in St. Helena, our beautiful  7-acre campus has served the up valley communities for over 20 year by offering quality education in community service classes, non-credit  and credit courses. The campus features a fully equipped teaching kitchen, a beautiful art studio, science and computer labs, and a spacious outdoor courtyard for events. UVC is also home to the Napa Valley Cooking School, an intimate program designed to train aspiring chefs with access to world renowned chefs and global externships.

    A prominent landmark along the Napa-Vallejo Highway, Napa Valley College’s Performing Arts Center is a distinguished entrance marker to the iconic Napa Valley. Open to the public since 2010, the NVC Performing Arts Center’s three stages host a unique blend of student and professional performances each year. Sited at the north edge of the NVC campus to take advantage of the beautiful views of the Napa Valley range, it is the recipient of numerous architectural design awards, including The American Institute of Architects Minnesota Honor Award (2011). Nestled in the heart of Napa Valley,the CIA at Greystone offers degree and certificate programs in culinary arts, baking & pastry arts, and wine education. We also welcome food and wine enthusiasts in Boot Camps, weekend food and wine classes, in our Spice Islands Marketplace, and in our three restaurants.

    Education Through Music believes that all people, especially the child, deserves an esthetic education.  Each of us has a musical nature that should be nurtured and supported throughout our lives no matter who we are. This provides confidence, stability and connection between ourselves and others. Our organization seeks the develop strong educational practice that supports the best learning environment for the child to develop these skills and feel safe and supported within the context of learning language, music, the highest order thinking while being highly sensitive to the developmental needs of the child. Our courses run the school year from September to August for adult who would like to study our philosophy and how to use ETM in their setting.  We have Family Fine Arts Day Camps in the summer across the country in various locations for adults and children to engage in music, art and storytelling together.  We also whole week-long summer conferences called “Colloquium” with live observations, special topic sessions and large group singing and lecture sessions.     The Master Gardener Program is a volunteer organization associated with the University of California Cooperative Extension. Master Gardeners are trained, nonpaid teaching staff certified to extend practical horticultural information to Napa County residents. What do the UC Master Gardeners of Napa County offer? We staff a Help Desk at the UC Cooperative Extension office and provide information at public workshops, farmers markets, through newspaper articles, and through talks and demonstrations to local groups.
