    Our organization is a branch of a national 501c(4) non-profit, American Association of University Women, whose mission is to advance gender equality for women and girls through research, education and advocacy. Our vision is equity for all and our values are nonpartisan, fact based, integrity, inclusion and intersectionality. We have 230 members and offer 6 general programs, most that are open to the public. Our program topics revolve around our mission and and are often STEAM based. The Napa County Branch also has a Foundation that offers scholarships to young women in all the Napa County high schools and Napa Valley College as well as three other scholarships specified for advanced female college students. The primary fundraiser of the Foundation is our annual Author’s Forum that showcases 4 Bay area authors and raised money for all our scholarships

    As the official local arts agency in Napa County, it is our role to connect, advocate and lead the arts community countywide. By building a network of advocates, organizing policy initiatives, and empowering the industry through education, information, and resources, we serve to benefit all residents with a more sustainable, accessible and quality local arts scene. Our current core programs focus on communication, cultural tourism, public art, and K-12 education.

    The Calistoga Art Center was formed in 2002 by community members and art enthusiasts to expand and enrich the arts in the Napa Valley through education, experience, awareness and involvement.
  • di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art

    di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art offers visitors refuge to view the art of Northern California in a singularly unique setting. Protected in perpetuity under the Napa County Land Trust, the site features multiple galleries, a sculpture park, and a 35-acre lake, all located on 217 scenic acres in Napa Valley’s famed Carneros region. di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art originated as the vision of Rene di Rosa (1919-2010), a prolific collector whose famed vineyards enabled his development of a world-class art collection. Together with his wife Veronica di Rosa (1934–1991), he used the sale of his vineyards to build an “art park” for the greater public. The organization was incorporated as a nonprofit public trust in 2000. Today di Rosa presents contemporary exhibitions by Bay Area-based artists and an array of educational programs for all ages, in addition to maintaining a permanent collection of notable works by artists living or working in the San Francisco Bay Area from the mid-twentieth century to the present day.

    Utilizing a grant from the Jarvis family the Conservatory began operation in Napa, CA, in 1995, providing training and support for artists. The Conservatory is dedicated to serious art forms not often available in other places, and at the same time, art forms relating to the large Hispanic community of Napa. All Conservatory productions take place in what has been described as a jewel of a theater, and an acoustic marvel.

  • Napa Valley College Performing Arts Center

    A prominent landmark along the Napa-Vallejo Highway, Napa Valley College’s Performing Arts Center is a distinguished entrance marker to the iconic Napa Valley. Open to the public since 2010, the NVC Performing Arts Center’s three stages host a unique blend of student and professional performances each year. Sited at the north edge of the NVC campus to take advantage of the beautiful views of the Napa Valley range, it is the recipient of numerous architectural design awards, including The American Institute of Architects Minnesota Honor Award (2011).     The Napa Valley Museum is a nonprofit 501c3 organization dedicated to enriching the cultural fabric of our community through exhibitions, collections, educational programs and creative activities that promote knowledge and understanding of art, nature and history.
  • The Napa School of Martial Arts (Hwa Rang Kwan Napa)

    The Napa School of Martial Arts brings affordable, quality martial arts training in after school programs to at-risk and low-income children and teens in Napa County. We are Napa’s only 501(c)(3) nonprofit martial arts school and, since 2011, we have taught martial arts and self-defense techniques as well as life-long lessons about integrity, respect, and hard work, to those who cannot afford the higher prices at for-profit schools.  Our fees are based on a sliding scale dependent on need. All of our instructors are Kukkiwon-certified black belts and do not receive any salaries.  Hwa Rang Kwan was brought to the United States in 1965 by our instructor, Grandmaster D. K. Shin, who still teaches at his own school in Belmont, and has a 1,000-year tradition in Korea.

    Education Through Music believes that all people, especially the child, deserves an esthetic education.  Each of us has a musical nature that should be nurtured and supported throughout our lives no matter who we are. This provides confidence, stability and connection between ourselves and others. Our organization seeks the develop strong educational practice that supports the best learning environment for the child to develop these skills and feel safe and supported within the context of learning language, music, the highest order thinking while being highly sensitive to the developmental needs of the child. Our courses run the school year from September to August for adult who would like to study our philosophy and how to use ETM in their setting.  We have Family Fine Arts Day Camps in the summer across the country in various locations for adults and children to engage in music, art and storytelling together.  We also whole week-long summer conferences called “Colloquium” with live observations, special topic sessions and large group singing and lecture sessions.     Valley Players was formed to give the experienced women of the Napa Valley a voice and a presence, by both expressing themselves via the art of theater and enjoying performances that reflect their own stories. We are dedicated to empowering women over forty through all aspects of the theatre arts—from writing to acting to directing to design and much more! Experienced women continue to be a powerful, expressive, and enduring voice in our society, and that voice is needed now more than ever. It is our mission to help ensure that voice is heard. Valley Players also offers classes for adults as well and short play performances at special events!
