The Pull by Lorraine Midanik

The Pull by Lorraine Midanik

Presented by Valley Players at Napa Valley Performing Arts Center at Lincoln Theater

To celebrate the Arts Council Napa Valley’s annual Arts in April event and as part of the Bay Area Women’s Theatre Festival, Valley Players is holding a workshop of this new play with Bay Area playwright Lorraine Midanik. After the workshop, we’ll be presenting the new work as a staged reading on April 19 of 2020 with reception and talk-back immediately following at the Napa Valley Performing Arts Center at Lincoln Theater in Yountville.

College sweethearts, Bernie and Michael, meet again after many years at a 50th Anniversary party for mutual friends. The old flame is still there, but the two hopelessly fall into the same destructive interactions that ultimately ended their relationship many years before. What would have happened if they had stayed together? Can the passage of time allow them to shed their old defenses and finally realize the beauty of their relationship?

Join us in celebrating women in theatre and helping to create new works!
