Ukrainian Old New Year Celebration and Fundraiser

Ukrainian Old New Year Celebration and Fundraiser

Presented by Napa Valley to Ukraine at Yountville Community Center

Did you know that Ukrainians celebrate New Year’s twice?

On January 1st Ukrainians “say hello” to the new year and on January 14th – the first day of the old Julian calendar of the Romans – they celebrate to say “goodbye” to the old year.

Please join us for a deep dive into Ukrainian culture full of humor, fun and surprises on this festive day.* Enjoy Ukrainian food, drink, caroling, music, and memorable holiday traditions.

$20 tickets include a glass of wine and some small bites. Sales of additional food and wine, crafts, t-shirts, and more all raise funds for life saving aid to Ukraine.

Admission is free for children, students and Yountville residents (with ID’s as appropriate).

*Ukrainian culture entails a lot of cracking jokes and staying positive – even during these dark times – and reminding each other that Ukraine will prevail. Slava Ukraini!
