Volunteer: Napa Lighted Art Festival

The Parks and Recreation Services Department provides parks, recreation programs, and the City facility maintenance. Parks and Recreation supervises the operation of the Napa Golf Course at Kennedy Park, maintains our City parks and other public spaces, processes your registrations for recreation activities and reservations for meetings and picnic faculties in our parks, among other tasks. We offer a wide array of recreation classes, programs and activities for kids, teens and adults to enjoy. We are looking for euthanistic and energetic individuals who would like to support the 2020 Napa Lighted Art Festival. We are recruiting event ambassadors who would be interested in one or more of following areas

Be positioned at various installations and/or main intersections to aid festival attendees

Provide directions to location of installations and highlights of the festival

Share information about downtown Napa to visitors

Provide guided tours of the art installations

Provide additional support and assistance for visiting artists including attending the artist reception

Assist with the Lantern Parade on January 17th (lantern making station or parade route monitors)

Assist with distributing event marketing materials

The 2020 Napa Lighted Art Festival will be held on January 11-19, 2020. Shifts for ambassador will be 5 30-9 00 pm on Friday-Saturday and 5 30-8 30 pm on Monday-Thursday. Depending on the assignment, there will be orientation meetings during the week of December 16th and January 6th. Most of the positions may require standing for several hours, walking and being outside during cold or wet weather. For more information about the festival, please go to www.donapa.com/lights
