Napa Valley College Performing Arts, in a co-production with The Streaming Theatre, will create and present a Zoom live stream of Night of the Living Dead, as the theater arts fall production. The production is directed by Jennifer King, alongside Kevin Kemp, founder of the Streaming Theatre, as digital director.
To audition, submit a self video recording of the following radio announcer speech from the film to firstname.lastname@example.org by August 30. All roles are open for actors 16 and older.
The live stream performance will take place on October 29 at 7pm.

Cast members must enroll in THEA 151: Contemporary Theater Production. Students in high school can receive dual enrollment transferable credit upon completion of the course.For those interested in technical theater, they can enroll in THEA 143: Technical Theater in Production, Lights and Sound. Technical Theater students will learn how to develop digital and sound assets as well as lighting under the mentorship of Kevin Kemp, NVC Technical Director Matthew Cowell and NVC Assistant Technical Director Keira Sullivan.
ABOUT THE PLAY
Night of the Living Dead follows seven people who are trapped in a rural farmhouse in western Pennsylvania, which is under assault by an enlarging group of cannibalistic, undead corpses.
