A collaborative multidisciplinary artist, educator and consultant, Jennifer Hunt serves as “connective tissue” between people, places, events and ideas. In her role as a Master Trainer for Artful Learning, the transformational learning model initiated by Leonard Bernstein, she develops and leads customized professional development for educators around the country. As the founder of OpusEd, an integrated arts education company, she has designed and implemented dozens of partnerships with K-12 teachers in settings ranging from the Flathead Indian Reservation in Montana to the Sacred Valley in Peru to her current residency at Willow Elementary in Napa, CA. Her work has been showcased globally and included in the recent Artful Learning documentary, “How Did You Learn Today?” In her efforts to foster and integrate diversity, equity and inclusion in her work, Jennifer has been awarded tens of thousands of dollars in grants, enabling her to lead collaborations between her students and artists, authors, scientists and activists from around the world. She has created interdisciplinary curricula for the Berkeley Symphony, Merced Symphony and TedEd. As adjunct faculty at Napa Valley College and Pacific Union College, she has designed and taught cross-disciplinary courses and facilitated student and faculty collaborations.
