DETAILS:     Acumen is excited to unveil “Brix Fix,” a solo exhibit by globally acclaimed  artist Danette Landry at the Acumen Napa Valley Tasting Room in downtown Napa. A special open house event will take place on Saturday, March 14 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Guests are also invited to taste through a selection of Acumen’s renowned wines paired with delicious artisan cheeses. The show will run through May 16.

The “Brix Fix,” exhibit will include an array of original paintings by Landry, including works shipped from France and Australia specifically for the show. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Agnès Martin, Malevitch, Rothko and Richard Serra, Landry’s captivating paintings feature beautifully executed nontraditional color mixes, with an emphasis on the color red, and its power to seduce, celebrate, ignite and empower. Landry’s recent exhibitions include several shows in Paris, France, and an exhibit at the A.I.R. Gallery in New York.

Founded in 2012, with the goal of making the finest estate-grown wines on Atlas Peak, Acumen farms two coveted mountain vineyards—Edcora and Attelas—totaling 116 planted acres. Using grapes from these organically and sustainably certified estate vineyards, Acumen crafts a small portfolio of acclaimed mountain-grown wines, with a focus on Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc.

ADMISSION:

Admission to the art show is complimentary. Guests may also do a wine and cheese tasting for $35.
